Two pieces of frozen pizza. Should've only had one but I had to cook the whole pizza and it was tasty.
Pretty bad day willpower-wise, I guess, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it.
Birthday party for Max: hot dog, corn on the cob, cheese and crackers, two chocolate cupcakes, a spoonful of vanilla ice cream. Three root beers sodas (sugared).
Went to a birthday party/cookout and so had a variety of finger foods and plenty of wine. I didn't eat half of what I normally do this time out. What I remember: 8 pieces of sushi rolls, hand full of tortilla chips and salsa, 1/2 chicken breast, a piece of lemon cake, several glasses of red wine. I'm sure I've missed some other stuff in there.
Burger and a few fries from the dairy bar at the corner near the upholstery shop, which patched the rip in my top for free. Pretty cool.
I was hungry tonight. My roommate made some kind of microwave lasagne which smelled tasty. Luckily, I know that those things (a) are NOT tasty, and (b) previously smelled like yuck to me. I had a few crackers (==3) which was just enough to tide me over.
Some chicken, a small handful or tortilla chips, a spoonful of potato salad, and a spoonful of ice cream.
Now that I have a scale, I'm also going to post my daily weight as a delta from 203.
Well, not really. Just a scale. Went out and bought the cheapest strain-guage scale I could find. At the store on the sample I weighed 214.5. At home I weighed (fully clothed, after lunch, dancing like a monkey) 204.5. Wooo hoooo! Easiest ten pounds ever.
I have no idea how much I really weigh. I normally tip the scales at 215, but my morning weight today was 203. I'm assuming the scale is off by 10 pounds.
Doesn't really matter, though, it's the delta that I'm trying to track.
Turkey and ham club, french fries.
Didn't have any dinner last night. Wasn't hungry. Fancy that!
Small turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayo. A couple pickles. A small piece of cheesecake.
Johny Rocket's #12. Some fries. Diet Cherry Coke. Gotta stop with the Rocket-- seems like we've gone every few days the past couple weeks.
Once again, hungry at night. Two fig newtons and 5 tiny ounces of milk (because that's all that was left in the carton).
Once again, needed a snack-- probably the beer talking. Four fig newtons and a glass of milk.
BBQ at Chris and Diane's place: 1 bratwurst with mustard, corn and potato salad, and a browine with homemade apricot sorbet. Oh yeah, and three beers.
Couldn't make it... Another slice of pizza, 8 oz chocolate milk. I NEEDED the chocolate. heh.
Bua Thai: chicken and veggies, rice. Yeah, with coconut sauce. This was more of a 3/4 sized meal instead of a half sized meal.
Pizza CA: large salad, half a piece of pizza. Tasty diet coke. Bile about work politics.
I changed my server config to use Apache::Registry in an effort to speed up MT. I've had occasional problems with lib files that can't be found. I stuck in a PerlSetEnv PERL5LIB and it seems a better (though I haven't done any real testing yet).
It is significantly faster. They have an even faster method using handlers, but if I don't need it, I won't bother.
Johnny Rocket's #12, diet cherry Coke. (Yes, they will make you a diet cherry Coke.)
Lunch at Pizza California: salad and half a slice of pepperoni. Diet Coke.
Seeing Snuffy's success at losing weight since the beginning of this year motivated me (again) to try to remove the ever-growing bulge around my middle. Since starting at Cryptic, I've gained five to ten pounds. That needs to stop.
So, I'm starting a Half Diet today. I'm cutting calories by eating half as much of what I normally do. Salads (without dressing or sweet stuff) are free.
(This also gives me a chance to try out some pre-rolled web log software: Movable Type. We'll see how it compares to the Totem's homegrown stuff. So far, it's slower to enter stuff, the cgi is just kinda slow.)
