Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches: 2
Potato chips: 3 handfuls
Cookies: 4
Sodas: 2
Hamburger and fries
Spaghetti and sauce with bread at the Zinx
Roast beef sandwich, potato chips. I should have avoided the chips, but I really craved the salt.
We did great for the first volleyball game (and won), and then things began to slip and we lost the last two. Poof! Out of the playoffs. Stupid single elimination.
I'm back from E3 where I stood up for 8 hours a day, got sore feet, was blasted by loud sounds all day, and was thanked by a zillion people for City of Heroes. It was really cool.
I also ate quite a bit of great food. We went to Miyagi's (a kinda-famous sushi place which was excellent) and the Pacific Dining Car (a steak place which was very good-- and expensive). No weight change over the week, though. The scale reads 196 (if you remember, I think it consistently reads high a bit) which is now my new zero point.
The TSP has been in "crunch-time" (as it's called) for the last few months. Now the game has been released, it's time again to take a step back and look at the weight battle. When stressed, TSP's response is not to come into work and shoot all of his co-workers, but to to eat cookies.
I've done pretty well, considering that I've fallen way off my diet and haven't exercised consistently since 2003. I think I'm up 5 or so pounds from my minimum, but it's trending up.
So, a restart is in order, though this isn't the best day to start since I'll be down in L.A. at a trade show for the next week. You need to start somewhere, though, so I plant my standard here. This is the new zero point. I'm aiming to lose around 20 pounds and, again, sustainability is the goal.
